He seems to be really terrified of failing her. Undyne - She is described as rather abusive to Papyrus. Regardless, Papyrus still cares for Sans, showing regret for (comedically) punching him. However, Sans seems to get irritated with Papyrus more often, which is a byproduct of the many years spent underground. Sans - Their relationship is pretty much the same. Since that was too big a risk since Aliza was still wandering around Snowdin, Sans goes to find her while Papyrus heads to Undyne. Sans tells him that if he isn't there for roll call, Undyne will go to find him. He then warns him that Undyne really was here, much to both his and Sans' horror. He stops Sans from giving in to his hunger by (rather comedically) punching him and stating it shouldn't be considered murder because Sans asked him to. Afterwards, he saved her from being grilled to death, and announced (rather smugly), that Queen Undyne has arrived. Sans then remarks on Aliza's knowledge of the puzzle to use the freebie, claiming that she's a "clever girl". He emerges, claiming that "you humans make such a big deal out of everything". Sans refuses, which makes Papyrus go in and get Aliza himself. The child refused to move, which prompts Papyrus to order Sans to retrieve her. He asks her, "What's your problem meat bait, can't take a joke?" Sans mocks her, remarking that "he'd never seen a human too stupid to not walk around the damn thing".Īliza then shoots a sharp glare at him, which now takes him aback. This brings Papyrus aback, as he claims that she didn't even attempt to cross it. When Aliza loads again (presumably near the trail), she immediately flashes the sign.
"If you see blue snow, don't walk on it, and it won't hurt you."ĭesperate, Aliza begs for a freebie but is unable to flash the sign due to her hands being trapped under the snow.Īs Sans finishes his spiel, Aliza starts to suffocate, begging for a freebie one last time. This falls on deaf ears, as Sans starts explaining the rules (similar to his original counterpart) The snow starts to pull her in while the young girl is pleading to be saved. In her shock, she accidentally stumbles onto the deadly trail. Unsurprisingly, a cluster of bones blocks her path, surprising her. Aliza, rightfully believing that there must be a trick, tries to walk around it instead. The second puzzle required one to walk on a strip of blue snow. When she loaded her save, she solved it, surprising Papyrus. He assumed that Aliza is trying to lower his guard, so he ran away to prepare some puzzles.Īt the first puzzle, Aliza died, because Papyrus argued with his brother instead of properly explaining rules to her. But then he became suspicious, because it was too easy. Then, he tells Papyrus about Aliza, and lets Papyrus find her.Īt first, he was happy that he caught a human. Sans warned Aliza about Papyrus, and told her to hide behind a corpse. The third of which was when he willing protected her from Sans due to a miscommunication without reason.
The second time was when Sans succumbed to his hunger and almost ate her arm and Papyrus knocked the sense into him per his request. The first of which was ,at the cost of a freebie, when he kept the Snowdin residents from eating her alive. So far throughout the comic, he has protected her from harm three different times. With Flowey's advice, she was able to befriend him. He still has a bubbly outlook, but he has become much more outright morbid and dark in both his speaking and his puzzles.Įven though he is willing to eat humans, Papyrus is willing to protect ones he holds a bond with. He doesn't dislike humans, but he is willing to kill and eat them without hesitation. He is still a very cheerful and nice monster in his personality and demeanor. His bones and and body has grown due to his ”special spaghetti.” (Either from his "special spaghetti" or blood). His teeth are crooked and dirty from something red. His eyes are really small and sunken, and his scarf is torn.
